Nope. Closest for me is Metroid: Zero Mission. The GBA/DS Castlevanias all came very close but never quite surpassed it.

It's outdated and pretty trash by most of the newer games

Hollow Knight in some respects. SotN still beats it out in artstyle and music imo.
