Like any other bar really. You don't just get guys in there too. I've been in one once and just ended up on karaoke singling I'll do anything for love while this guy had his arm around me. This girl was singing it with my bro so eh. Good times.

I think some guys are very insecure and assume because you're in a gay bar and/or around gay guys you're automatically going to get hit on. While it's certainly a possibility it's about as likely as getting hit on by a girl in another bar and in my experience that's not very likely unless you make a move first. I mean the guy a sang with for example never tried anything and he certainly was a gay bloke although maybe he was interested. I personally didn't have any issue whatever the case and was just there to enjoy myself. It was the only place open at those hours in the morning so eh.

Yeah, my problem was that the females far outnumbered the gentlemen. I wasn't disappointed, but I dunno. Couldn't see any special reason for the bar to be flooded with ladies.

Lots of straights went to the one I used to go to just because the music it played. Everywhere else was hip hop or pop. Gay club did like techno and techno remixes of pop songs. It was almost hard to call it a gay club as a draq queen once asked for a show of hands on who was straight or part of lgbt and it was damn near 50/50.

Think the biggest difference aside from music was the bartenders where always shirtless.

Chances of getting hit on are definitely possible. Happened to me and my best friend I'd drag along. They seem fine taking no for a answer though but my friend would usually just tell them he was straight and here with his friend then direct them towards me.

My friend seemed indifferent to it. He always had people throwing themselves at him both women and gay guys. But knowing him back then it inflated his ego if it did anything.

Ive been to two gay bars. Both were times that the group I was with went inside without realizing it was a gay bar. And also, I wanted to stay for a bit longer than the group both times because they happened to have ridiculously cheap pitchers compared to everywhere else. Like, most of the bars had $8-10 pitchers and those two gay bars were in the $5 range.

Just made me think of a homophobic person I knew who almost walked into a gay bar that clearly had a rainbow flag over the door. He was just super focused on the fact he just saw a bunch of hot girls walk in. My brother had to ruin the fun though and tell him before he got to the door.

It would have. Either he would have been super embarrassed and ran out or made a scene and got drug out. I really don't know how I put up with him as a friend as long as I did.
