So I had an order. Among that order was a dozen (food item). I get a call later saying he needed a two dozen.

Now so far this isnt too bad. Perhaps I misunderstood/misheard him on the phone or he misspoke. No biggie right?

However I had specifically stated everything that was in the bag clearly when giving it to him(Sounds great thanks!) asked if he needed anything else. So worst case scenario even if I messed up he also wasnt listening to me/blew me off and I coudlve fixed it in roughly a minute if he had.

But he doesnt want to speak to a manager, come back for more, get a refund or anything. He literally just called to complain. Did he think a complaint to a low level employee, with no record, refunds etc. is going to accomplish anything? He is lucky if said employee even brings it up to management(Which I did) and even luckier if the manager cares(Which they didnt. What are you supposed to do with a he said she said where the guest got exactly what they had paid for. Which there is a record of the payment/order to prove that much)

That sounds like pure spite/face saving to me. If you have a problem and dont want it resolved dont waste my time. Maybe it was my fault, maybe it was yours. Maybe it was both of our faults.


TL:DR. Good service requires both parties and for love of god dont complain for the sake of complaining. I acknowledge its possible I was partly at fault.

I have several other less grey stories that I typed up but a browser crash wiped those out so just gonna do a brief summary.

-Rude man wastes time with various invalid coupons from a third party site that he takes forever to bring up and is insistent on a discount anyways,

-Two ladies do the most fragmented order ever, ask too many questions(after being offered a menu that wouldve answered pretty much all of them no less) complain and lie about prices/being regulars, interrupt the order to call someone, try to ask me things while I am assisting other guests, and do various their rude, annoying and confusing things.

-A third party delivery service took a hour and a half just to assign a driver to pick up the food we had ready for them ages before that.

Thats not all of it either. Just the lowlights.

TL:DR 2 Food service really fucking sucks sometimes

That does sound shitty. Did the lady really go out her way to make a call or did she just take a call? Cause if she really made a call for herself than holy shit she's a bitch that doesn't respect people. I can kind of see why some people are default mad at society. Not saying you are of course but I have friends that are.
