Sup CE. This websites always meant a lot to me. Been here since... I dunno, 08. A little under half my life ago. Used to be an active poster. Now I just lurk and nostalgize about the good ol days. A lots changed since then. Started and finished high school. Started and finished college. Anyways enough reflecting.

This boards close to my heart so I just wanna post this here. My bands debut EP. Its been a long time comin. Ive been writing songs since..I dunno, 05. yea spotify is pretty terrible platform to try and show off your music on. you get like 5 second preview, or shuffle play which probably wont even play a song of yours after making you watch an advertisement

i think all this time and frankenstein are the two stronger tracks. its not really my kinda thing, but i can respect it.

i think the upbeat poppy tracks fit your sound a lot better than the slower moody ones tho.

may i ask what youre playing on these tracks?

Thanks! Yeah the bubblegum sound is really us I think. Fits the band image a lot haha. Im one of the singers and guitar when live, and I also record the bass guitar for our studio tracks.

this is absolutely not for me but I do think they are well performed+produced and I like the way the bass is mixed a lot, especially on All This Time

Thanks for listening! Definitely not for everyone but Im glad you could find something on it you like. Our engineer did a really good job with the mixing.

Sounds really polished! I would not be suprised to hear this on top 40 radio.

We can only hope! Haha. Whoa yeah the way the drums and the lead synth interact is super similar. Thats a great song, love to hear it

Was this recorded hobby/in house, or did you pay someone to help out? I'm only a novice/hobbyist sound engineer, but the mixing really shot out at me, the first track especially is missing a lot of punch that's easily fixed with some good mixing.

I congratulate you in not participating in the volume wars that pop music has had a hard on for as of late though.

The songs - not my cup of tea, but they seem very well constructed and high quality and written with passion. Respect.

Definitely not my style. Pretty awful actually. But maybe people enjoy this, it's just not for me

Thanks for checking it out! Really appreciate the feedback. yeah it was recorded in
-house, but we sent it over to an engineer we met online. Definitely not studio recorded although I wish it was. Theres some mixing issues that simply werent manageable at our budget but maybe in the future well revisit this and try to get it to the quality we envision it to be. Cheers!

Thank you! Yeah, its a long process. But worth it. Theres nothing else Id wanna do.

I like all this time. I would listen to cigs inside and Frankenstein when jogging or something that I wanted to not focus too much on what was playing. Good effort, hopefully you will go far.

Yo thanks!! Thats a great compliment to me, means it fits right in on a playlist! Its tricky to make music that doesnt stick out like a sore thumb. Hope so too :-)

Not my type of music but well constructed and well recorded. Instruments sound good. Kinda wish there was not so much auto tune on the voice because Im sure you guys can actually sing really well. That part was a little too processed. But overall, cool good job

Had the music playing from the speaker and one of my roommates asked who you was and said he'd check you out.

He also said "He got that Red Hot Chili Peppers vibe."

I don't like this style of music but it sounds very clean and technically excellent. I'm sure you can get a lot of fans with it.

It kind of reminds me a little of Dave Matthews Band

Kind of just sounds like generic mid 00s coffee shop rock. My brother in law was in a band circa 2005 that sounded just like this.

Very, very strongly agree with this.

Yeah after hearing this feedback I think for the next project Ill make sure we tone it down a bit. Didnt really cross my mind that itll be irritating. But thank you for listening, that really helps a lot well for sure keep it in mind.
