This is valid. I think the reason it wasn't mentioned though is because the show was centered around Chappelle. All those other shows had a collection of cast members, though some obviously got more screen time than others. But yeah, Chappelle Show was a singularity. I don't think we'll see anything as golden as it for a long time, if ever again. I mentioned Chappelle's Show in my other account in this topic but I definitely put that on the top of best comedy sketch shows among the big ones Not sure if anime counts but would people consider Pop Team Epic a sketch comedy series as an anime?
