Process them one at a time as any one else that crosses our border. Treat each individual as a separate case worthy of the respect of the law, but do not just allow them to walk in.

Do you guys have any idea how slow government works? Youre talking about creating a permanent tent city at the US border. Well never be able to process that many people. That caravan will sit at the border for a year with new people adding to it daily.

Immigration department really needs to hire more people but we really don't increase their budget to allow them to do so.

Because the immigration courts fall directly under Jeff Sessions. The immigration courts arent even part of the judicial branch of the government, as fucked up as that sounds. Jeff Sessions and the Trump administration arent going to spend more money beefing up the immigration courts. Theyve shown that theyre perfectly happy with tent cities.

It's not even an issue with this admin. Like this has been a problem for a while.

Say that when theres a tent city of starving, dehydrated immigrants camped outside the US border for more than a year. Youre talking about a humanitarian nightmare.

A nightmare Mexico should really do something about.

If they can't handle a few thousand migrants I question the legitimacy of their government.

And if you feel so bad about it, get your passport and go down there, on the Mexican side, and start passing out bottled water. It's your goddamn problem not mine.
