Brian Kemp is starting an investigation against his opponent. This is on top of voter fraud.

Backstory --- He is acting as Secretary of State in his own election for Governor.

Equally troubling is the fact that his office purged almost 670,000 registered voters in 2017 alone, and some 1.5 million voters between 2012 and 2016 (roughly 1 out of every 10 Georgia voters and nearly twice as many as the state cancelled between 2008 and 2012), and that an investigation has shown that a majority of those purged were not only still in the state; they had never even left their district.

It still blows my mind that someone can be in charge of an election in which they are a candidate. Of course anyone with any ethical standards would have immediately recused themself from their role in overseeing the election, but it still seems like there should be something in place to prevent bullshit like this.

FWIW, Kemp also accused Obama's Dep of Homeland Security of attempting to hack GA's elections in 2016. Trump's own investigation found that the emails in question were routine communication between state and federal government.
