Despite what the 14th ammendment may or may not say, there has never been a specific ruling as to whether it actually applies to unauthorized immigrants. The Supreme Court has ruled that Children born to legal residents who are non-citizens do have citizenship, so if they changed their ruling on that it would reverse a prior ruling.
