Just finished all 5 seasons on Netflix. Hilarious show about the behind-the-scenes drama in the entertainment industry. Matt Leblanc plays a fictionalized version of himself starring in a British-comedy-turned-American-comedy show and the bastardization of the show in the process. Think 30 Rock but with some more dry British humor thrown in.

Great show, vastly underrated. One of the most funny things on television in the last decade.

No joke, I didn't realize this was a Showtime show when it originally aired so I didn't know the show would have nudity until her surprise nude scene that shocks me as much as it did Matt LeBlanc's character.

You should. It is really short and the series finale did a great job of wrapping up every lingering plotline.

Really good show, vastly underrated.

Matt LeBlanc carries it though. The other characters are good, but he's what really gives the most laughs IMO.

Agreed.

Matt does a great job pretending to be himself.

The side characters really grow on you throughout the seasons as they are developed and given their own plotlines.

This. Great scene, and I didn't realize it was the same girl from Peaky Blinders. Had no idea her tits were that big.

Yeah, she hides them pretty well under that shirt.

Also, the running gag with the character Morning, who was Matt LeBlanc's counterpart, constantly bringing up how she was as well known for being "Kelly" from "Kelly Girl" just as Matt was known as "Joey" from "Friends" had me confused as to whether or not "Kelly Girl" was a real show.

Turns out it isn't. Well, a "Kelly Girl" show exists but it's not the one she's talking about and she's certainly not in it. It's just surreal how the show blends real-life situations with fictional ones to the point that you can't tell what's accurate and what's satire.

Sounds like a rip off of Extras down to the name.

Hilarious show about the behind-the-scenes drama in the movie extras industry. Ricky Gervais plays a fictionalized version of himself starring in a British slapstick comedy and the bastardization of his life in the process.

That sounds hilarious. I looked it up and I see it was an HBO show. Being that Episodes is a Showtime show, it wouldn't surprise me that it was "inspired" by Extras to rival it (although it came out several years later).
