A field/livestock isn't exactly something you can put into storage and stop staffing just because people aren't buying as much milk this year for some reason. Also there's massive economic implications with losing that kind of industry. Now if Miami froze over and most of the orange crop was lost, oranges that year would be high. I'm no economist, but one would think if the price of gas went down, for example, so would everything else. I knew when the price of gas went down, nothing else was going to go down.
