A white woman was filmed calling police on a group of young black protesters who were holding a Stop the Violence rally over the weekend when they stopped at a gas station to get drinks. The Charleston City Paper reported that according to the protests organizer, the young Stop the Violence protesters were asked to wait outside after handing out anti-violence fliers at another location. They complied, but a man and woman who pulled up in a pickup truck began calling police anyway. I thought she was playing at first, activist Jonathan Thrower, who also goes by the name Shakem Akhet, told the City Paper. I didnt really think that was gonna happen. In the audio of the 911 recording, the woman is heard telling police that its like a riot out here and that although she wasnt in danger, the youthful demonstrators were absolutely destroying the outside of the store. North Charleston Police responded to the call, the City Paper noted, but the crowd had already dispersed and no report was taken. she probably complains about "black on black violence" --- "Conceit, arrogance and egotism are the essentials of patriotism"- Emma Goldman "Wimmy Wham Wham Wozzle!" -Slurms MacKenzie ...
