The plot was convoluted as fuck. It was during a time when Square thought that having a messy storyline meant it was an in-depth storyline LMAO. Not only that but it was an incomplete PoS of a game.

The deathblow mechanic is some inconsistent horseshit with no real consistent way to level it up or being learned.
Not enough human dungeons and battles IMO which made leveling up pointless since the major fights were in Gears which was mainly equipment heavy instead of actual levels. --- Don't like it? Don't watch it. It's that simple Capcom Defense Force ... Copied to Clipboard!
