I mean... dont underestimate the costs if having an extra 25% added to every day, your whole life.
That's an extra meal every day. Extra gas, electricity. More opportunity to spend money (which, statistically, is more likely to happen given more opportunity). Not to mention, who knows what this 6 hour boost will do to the global economy; given there will be people taking that 6 hours to work, I'd expect prices on just about everything to rise to match. Not to mention the boredom and physical atrophy having too much free time induces in a lot of people. Leisure is nice in a vacuum, but I can easily see that extra time making it harder to live. That said, adding 6 hours of work to every day could and would rapidly burn tons of people out. Pretty miserable way to live, either way. --- There's somethin' strange on the message board.
