I just straight up liked fighting and at that age neither of us was doing any real damage. Eventually my parents got me into boxing and stuff to vent those urges into more appropriate avenues. Once high school came around, people matured and it all went away. Mom also got a principle fired for not stopping bullying with me and various other students in Middle School. I won't be having kids, but just thinking about my Sister's children getting bullied riles me the fuck up. I don't know what I would do. Not because i thought it was a winning strategy (IIRC it sometimes made things slightly worse), but because i was too afraid to stand up for myself, but also unable to roll over completely to them or shrug it off. So that glare was my final unwavering act of defiance. I did notice that when dealing with male bullies, fighting back and losing would often result in them easing off for a while. Which can been dealt with with relative ease. Though one kid did try to kick me in the balls for no reason. Nobody knew it, but he missed. It still pissed me off enough to take him out though. Everyone was amazed that I just tanked the blow, lol. Fortunately, this wasn't at school so I didn't get in trouble. I got in a couple of other fights, but those I both started and finished in the same move. Turns out I'm naturally a grappler. I think if I were to do martial arts, I'd try judo or aikedo.
