I can honestly say I loved the trilogy and I like how each one was a bit different, but I definitely see where you are coming from. I feel like it kept things fresh by mixing up the formula a bit throughout.

One thing I don't like are the preorder bonuses, it felt like the bow that I got was OP and I pretry much used it all game making upgrading and buying the other bows feel pointless.

The emotional range of the voice acting was really limited making it feel flat. Now I still have to play the third one so i don't know if it is any better in it but she lacks some real emotions. Be it horrified or amazed.

Seriously, the events of the first game should have traumatized her. The second one should have been about overcoming the trauma.

Think Hellblade but with more freedom to move around similar to the Baba Yaga part.

Idk why, but I had very little motivation to finish Shadow. First one was great, but I rushed through it in one day. Rise was probably my favorite experience because I was high for most of it and loved exploring.

I like Lara and I liked the gameplay in Shadow, but the plot was like... ok? There was some potential early in the game and then it just kind of sputtered out mostly. I hope they make another game now that they're done with this giant origin story. I want a new take on badass Lara.

I just don't understand why they made her best friend a capable survivor and not have her in the next ones. She somehow managed to escape from a Somali compound on her own and they put her on a bus.
