I'm left af and all my gfs have been conservatives of varying levels, and my family is more right leaning as well. I don't get into arguments with anyone about politics, so I'd say so

It's not okay for anyone to disagree with me about anything ever including non-political stuff. I am objectively correct about literally everything. The closest to an exception of this rule is when I am indifferent/have no opinion on a subject. People are free to have opinions when I do not.

yes but people also need to understand two things:
1) In politics debate is good and sometimes those debates will get heated. simply leaving it at "oh its ok that you think that its just different from me" won't encourage progress. you need to debate and fight for your own beliefs to some extent so you can see it implemented and prove whether or not it would be beneficial as a whole to the nation. so simply debating someone doesn't mean "its not ok for you to think differently than me" it means "I think you're idea is bad and my idea would help more" 2) not everything is an opinion. when Kanye, for example, says Slavery was a choice and the salves could have just risen up and overtaken their masters..Its just a stupid statement and when people call him out on WHY its a stupid statement it doesn't mean those people think he isn't allowed to think differently. You can't hide behind "ITS JUST MY OPINION" all the time...sometimes you can flat out just be wrong. --- "I devour urine just like my Portland Trailblazers, with piss poor defense." ...
