Nobody had even put TB on the differential diagnosis list. She had been misdiagnosed as having chronic pneumonia secondary to COPD, which was total BS to me. Should still be doing AFB smears, NAA, mycobacterial cultures, the works before you start treatment for latent TB on yourself. your hospital infection control should know this.
