I think I could feel sympathy for him if he at least tried to be honest. Anyone can have something they once loved eventually turn into something they hate, and it's sad when that happens. But it's ridiculous to hear him go on and on about how much he loves what he does and what a fun, positive experience everyone has watching him when it's clear from his every action that he loathes playing games and can't stand the very people who pay his bills. I honestly have more respect for people like LTG and Wings of Redemption who are at least honest about only being in it for the money and don't try to pretend as if they're your friend.

DSP is just so fake about everything. I can't even think of the word that I would like to use to describe him. He's so. . .corporate? The way he talks and explains things is like that corporate manager that everyone hates at work. That's what he reminds me of, that manager or boss that everyone hates and makes fun of. From his voice to his attitude to the words he chooses to describe things.

The thing is, if something is actually fun, you don't need to be told that it's fun. It's like a parent trying to convince their kid that a trip to visit relatives is going to be exciting. "C'mon, it'll be fun!" I don't know how anyone who watches his stuff unironically can stand to constantly be bombarded with "fun, chill, positive, interactive" when it's obvious that his content is none of those things. But he seems to believe that continuing to repeat his buzzwords will make them come true.

I saw the clip where he gets fired from blip tv. They removed his stuff because of the nazi jokes in dead space which he defended as "playing a character from howard stern" and that "it takes away the stress from a scary game".

And again, most of the new games he has played recently haven't been bringing in views anyway. If anything, he should be mixing a small selection of new games with a larger selection of older games. Every game he plays is the same story: he rushes through without taking the time to fully learn how to play, and then when he gets to a difficult section he gets destroyed and starts screaming that the game is fucking terrible.

It's funny if you've ever heard him talk about how much money he used to make and how freely he spent it. There's never any shame or regret; all of it is YouTube's fault or Machinima's fault of the detractors' fault. He didn't need to save anything because his earnings should have stayed the same forever--nothing he could do. And rather than accept that things have changed and he needs to adjust his lifestyle, he absolutely expects that his viewers should make up his lost income. He doesn't need to improve or adapt or even treat the people who support him with a modicum of respect. Just give him money because he's entitled to it.
