Next April, going to the UAE (Abu Dhabi and Dubai).

Planning for my next trip after that. I'm thinking of Eastern Europe, particularly:

Russia
Ukraine (really keen to go to Pripyat)
Poland
Bosnia again (fiance is from there)
Hungary (although it's pretty westernized now)
Croatia

After that, I'd really like to do a Middle Eastern trip:

Saudi Arabia
Jordan
Egypt
Qatar

Other countries high up on the list I want to visit:

South Korea

Due to health issues the doctors don't want me flying, or spending time at elevations over 1000 feet.

But for reals, born in New Zealand, visited New Caledonia and Vanuatu, and went to Singapore last year for Formula 1. That's it for me.

living in england means you need to travel a lot if you want good weather and fun things to do

so yeah i try to travel 2-3 times a year

Nice. Had you been before? Where do you live?

First time. Slovenia is pretty small, 10 days lets you visit all cities and main attractions. Both countries are great for long hikes/camping trips. I'm from Canada, flew from montreal to venise and took a bus to pula from there.

You don't want to go to South America, TC? You've only been to heavily populated areas. I've never been anywhere else where the native culture is so in tact as in the Andes

Qatar (this was only for connecting flights, though)

Oh, and next year I'm going to a conference in South Korea, so I'll almost assuredly tack on a weeklong vacation before or after to Japan as well. After that, next on our hit list is to try to do an Iberian vacation, but questionable if/when we will do that. Hopefully next year as well, but likely 2020 or later.
