I wanted to wake up early so I'd have time to play Super Mario Party before work. But while I was asleep, I had a dream about some other game I used to play on Steam, used to play it on my laptop but as it was F2P it didn't stay on my account when I switched to my gaming computer I got a few years back so I forgot about it.

Now I didn't know if the game was real or not, since my dreams tend to implant false memories into my head at times, so I decided I was gonna get up and look it up while it was still fresh in my mind. I got out of bed, went to my computer, and went to log in...

...and next thing I know I'm back in bed, just waking up.

I think to myself "huh, that's odd, but now I can look it up for real." So I got out of bed, went to my computer, and went to log in...

...and once again, I'm back in bed.

After the 3rd or 4th time I finally figured out what was going on. But that didn't stop it from going on about 10 more times. At one point I "woke up" and I said to myself "Fuck, I'm still asleep aren't I?" I FINALLY managed to wake up for real, and let me tell you, I was so relieved THAT was over. It was truly one of the most surreal experiences I've ever had in my entire life.

Oh also I realized right away when I woke up for real "Yeah that game is fake".

Has anyone on CE ever had such an experience?

Yeah, this happened to me once several years ago. I woke up once or twice in-dream before waking up for real. A dream, within a dream, within a dream...

I don't even know how that's possible, but it can happen on rare occasions, I guess.
