U.S. Capitol Police said 27-year-old Jackson Cosko was charged with making public restricted personal information, witness tampering, threats in interstate communication, unauthorized access of a government computer, identity theft, second-degree burglary and unlawful entry. Police added that the investigation was continuing and more charges could be filed.

Senior congressional sources tell Fox News that Cosko most recently worked as an unpaid intern for Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee, D-Texas. He previously worked with Sen. Maggie Hassan, D-N.H., and former Democratic Sen. Barbara Boxer of California. A LinkedIn page with Cosko's name on it describes him as a "Democratic Political Professional & Cybersecurity Graduate Student."

Jackson Lee's office told Fox News that Cosko had only worked there for a couple of months, but has now been terminated. Hassan's office declined to comment.

Its unfortunate, Glenn Rushing, Jackson Lee's chief of staff, told Fox News. Rushing added that the congresswoman's office is "cooperating with law enforcement."

The information was posted during an extraordinary hearing in which Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh and Christine Blasey Ford testified about Ford's accusation that Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her in 1982. All three are GOP senators who are supportive of Kavanaugh.

Cosko has been charged with making public restricted personal information, witness tampering, threats in interstate communications, unauthorized access of a government computer, identity theft, second-degree burglary and unlawful entry. A bot that tracks edits to Wikipedia pages found that the changes were made from a computer on Capitol Hill on the House side

What I expected to happen happened.

It didn't happen to anyone on the right, not even Manafort who Trump still insists was docked in phoney charges and never did anything wrong.

I guess technically it happened to Cohen but you'll notice how the only bad shit he says about Cohen is in relevance to himself and Cohen's secret recordings and not about his role in laundering international campaign money.

According to the article, they were investigating the doxxing on Wikipedia. Following his IP address is what got him caught.

Nobody turned him in - they just threw him to the wolves. It's not like defending him would've helped.
