I've only done them a few times but it's always a nice way to start a trip, especially if it's a long flight or if you have a medium-length transit between two flights, because most of them have showers. Stuff like Prioritypass or Dragonpass is awesome if you travel enough for it to be worth it. Transferred them to All Nippon Airways for a total of 80,000 ANA points. used them to book 2 round trip flights for 80k points, and 500 dollars (a normal trip to japan will cost 1000+ round trip on cheaper airlines. ANA is selling the same flight for a whopping 2300 dollars round trip per person) for the hotel: i got the Citi ThankYou Premier card for 50,000 points. Transferred them to All Nippon Airways for a total of 80,000 ANA points. used them to book 2 round trip flights for 80k points, and 500 dollars (a normal trip to japan will cost 1000+ round trip on cheaper airlines. ANA is selling the same flight for a whopping 2300 dollars round trip per person) for the hotel: i got the Citi ThankYou Premier card for 50,000 points. I used its 1.25 cents per point redemption to book a week's worth of hotel in tokyo. then, im using my SPG American Express card to book a 2 night stay at a luxury 5 star hotel in tokyo. every year, they get a free night certificate. the card costs 95 dollars a year, but the hotel room im booking costs 300 dollars per night. 200 in value right there.</quote> ...
