I started noticing over the past couple of years, that mattress stores seem to pop up regularly and usually after about one or two years they go bankrupt. It's really weird. It's almost like clockwork.

There's two possible issues here. One is that the mattress stores aren't real businesses, the other is that after they sell mattresses to everyone, they have no customers for like 10 years or however long their mattresses are supposed to last.

What's really sketchy is that I've literally seen two Mattress Firm stores facing each other before. As in, right across the street from each other.

I've seen so many in such a small area that I wonder how they stay afloat.
