Though that's a 60 hour time investment, so the next best thing is to watch Fate/Zero followed by Unlimited Blade Works (the series, not the movie). The 2006 anime simply called Fate/stay night is medicore, and should only be watched after you're already invested if you're curious. There's also the Heaven's Feel movie trilogy that's still in production, which should be watched after UBW. Any other Fate/media you see are set in alternate universes and can be watched in any order after you've seen the main series. DrizztLink posted...
