It's got a thing I plug into the OBD-II port to send my mileage to the company because I pay per mile. So it obviously has GPS but the dash let's me see where both cars are at any given time.
My boyfriend wasn't home from work yet so I pulled it up and saw he was at the bar down the street and then I knew where he was and didn't have to worry. I didn't think he was doing anything nefarious. I just get worried that he got hurt or something while driving. Like got in an accident and couldn't tell me. It's not like I wanna stalk him or anything lmao I usually only feel that way when he's not home from work but I just feel sketchy using the app like that. I don't think I'll do it again.
After I did it I texted him all nonchalantly being like where are you! And he told me so I made a joke about Ernie waiting for his wake up kiss like sleeping beauty. If you can easily view where your cars are at all times through a third party app/device, so can other people.

this one time i was out after i recently got my first car, and i go to a store my parents were in(by chance) and they, having a key to my car, noticed it and moved it to the other end of the parking lot.
so, i leave not knowing they were there, freaking out, called them saying its stolen and they just bust out laughing and let me know what happened. now i think this is funny but back then I played the super victim "this isnt funny!" card. I dont know, i could see this new GPS tracking device leading to plenty of funny situations like this. . . ... Copied to Clipboard!
