Brah I wake up go for a run it's fucking 40 degrees I'm shivering, I shower and go outside, still cold so I throw on a hoodie, hope my hair dries by the time I get to school even though I know it's not gonna happen cause it's 50 degrees out, sit in the car and wait for the windows to defog, get to school find a parking spot and leave the windows up because fuck do I care it's cold out. Done with school I go outside and it's 70 degrees out and here I am sweating in a fucking hoodie on a 30 second walk through the parking lot, inside the car it's hot as shit because I left the windows up.

That extends the harvest season for peppers. I like it.

It makes me happy. Summers here are fucking horrible.

It's not unusual for me to get more introspective and somber during autumn, but I think that's alright. It's part of why I enjoy the weather, there's something satisfying about watching everything die off as winter encroaches upon the land. The warm thick muggy air finally gives way to much more forgiving weather. The clouds don't let up for more than a few days at a time (if that) until lake erie freezes over most years, so Seasonal Affective Disorder can definitely be a thing with the sun blotted out most of the time.

I just roll with it though and throw on something relaxing or equally introspective to go with the dreary weather. Coffee can sometimes act as a pick me up and improve my mood.
