But we have had a lot of crazy shit happen around here. - Both bathroom mirrors randomly fell off the wall... one drilled in, the other just on a screw .... within a month of each other. - My brother claims he saw a ghost when he was grilling one night. Threw a swing at it and ran away. - My mother claims she saw a outside of her window, so she keeps the shades closed. - Our lights in all of the upstairs rooms tend to flicker. - The dishwasher turns on in the middle of the night sometimes. - My brother's fiancee's son was spooked when he was about 4 or 5, and never wanted to sleep in his room ever again. - Our cat (and cats of the past) have had periods of freaking out. - My mother and brothers claimed they smelled smoke at the top of the stairs once before. - My father heard my brother yelling downstairs once, only to find out he was laying on the couch upstairs a few seconds later. - My father got scratches on his leg walking by our bay window in the middle of the day. I didn't open my eyes. Suddenly I felt it swing around to the side of bed, looking down at me and I heard a roaring sound which instantly jolted me fully awake from like a half-sleep state, like some combination of a loud train, an earthquake and a Jurassic park t rex. I didn't open my eyes. It lasted for several seconds and my face felt hot. I did not go back to sleep that night. I did not sleep in that room ever again. I don't know what that was. I don't know what I believe. I do know what I don't believe. Needless to say, whatever the incident was, I had sort of asked for it, whether that triggered something psychosomatic possibly related to sleep paralysis or some other parasomniac event or it actually was some real thing... I won't be putting myself in a situation like that again lol. I would just take the stance of not getting worked up about it.
