I was in National Junior Honor Society in middle school, but I didn't bother in high school because they required volunteering.

I was also forced to volunteer on a farm during my first week of law school and I was pretty pissed off about that.

For those wondering if an honor society is "worth it", a friend said the only ones seen as having any value or benefit are part of the Association of College Honor Societies.
