There's almost no difference in his humor since before. His videos have changed, sure, but he's neither more funny or less funny than before. Pretty sure his focus now is streaming and doing movie reviews. Guy has to make money some how, and his newer format has grown his channel a ton in the last year or two.

I watch the streams and even donate sometimes because I still enjoy that, but his vids are ass now. His sense for that format is gone, and the people he works with are fucking awful. The other podcast dudes are fucking awful, alt-right-adjacent cockbags and they have had a very noticeable negative effect on his demeanor and views. The Australian guy seems to merely tolerate them tho.

But I recognize now that he finally moved out of his parent's place, he needs to pump out videos at a more consistent basis to get those ad revenues. Well at least his content is better than Pewdiepie's content.

I still watch his stuff and enjoy a good amount of it but I know a lot of people have moved on.

Also I hate to break it to the "He became a bro!" people, but he was always a dudebro. People just expected him to be some fat dude in his mom's basement or a deep voiced black dude, so I think a lot of the geeks who watched his content were heartbroken when they learned their hero was the very thing they hated. His face reveal was him hungover in bunny slippers. Can't get much more campus bro than that.

Also, I feel like some of the magic was taken away when it turned out he actually talks IRL how he talks in his videos. Not the deep voice part, but the actual one liners. You always just kind of thought that was him fucking around behind a mic, but now that he's done some vlogs with friends and his new gf it's pretty clear he says things like "Are you nippiling all over me?" as part of his everyday convos and it's just a tad cringy.

Same as the pop culture stuff. On a message board it's good for a laugh but imagine you have no idea who this dude is, you meet him at a party and he starts making 90's cartoon references. You'd probably walk away.
