Or will they retcon it to make Sam Jackson the original? I mean it is hard to buy that he is half white.

Sam Jackson is the original Nick Fury in that universe, just as he was in the Ultimate Universe

Sticking with Sam Jackson as the original Nick Fury wouldn't be a retcon at all lol

in the comics, white Nick had a black son. maybe Jackson should have a white son?

anyway, black nick fury will probably eventually go out of fasion. what happened in the comics is white nick went off to live on the moon. and his son took over his job. I bet after enough time goes by since the final Jackson performance, they will slowly start using white nick again in various games and comics and maybe even movies.

the thing that most non comic experts tend to not get is that it was more than a race change. it's not the same person at all. black nick fury is just a normal man who has training. white nick fury drank a version of the super soldier serum and he has enhanced abilities and ages very slowly. and he actually is from the same generation as Steve Rogers. he fought in WW2. most people don't know that.

when they made him black, they completely changed his backstory and his abilities. even if they kept him black, I just want the WW2 vet back

Wrong.
The Ultimate Universe has and always had a black Nick Fury.
You're thinking of the 616.
This Nick Fury was brand new for the cinematic universe, and that inspired the Ultimate Universe to use a black Nick Fury.

Wrong way around. Ultimate Nick Fury debuted first in 2002. They designed him after Samuel L. Jackson which eventually lead to his casting in the MCU.

Fair point. But either way, cinematic Fury is not based on the 616. Period.
In the cinematic universe, there is no other Nick Fury.

Yea i know. But the problem is that the comics like to emulate the MCU these days. And so we got black fury in 616. And in every game and cartoon that has come out in the past 20 years. It effects everything else
