Cao Cao did nothing wrong

The Wu were the most fun to me. Shu were pretty stupid. The game just kept telling you they were the good guys but if I recall correctly they just did some dumb shit. I haven't Dynasty Warriors in a while though. I never read the novels either.

They're going to introduce these original characters to the franchise which will result in 170 total playable characters across all factions

- Zeus: The Greek god of the sky and thunder, he takes an interest in Orochi's dimensional world and brings the heroes back to realize his ambitions. Zeus wields a scepter as his weapon.
- Athena: The Greek goddess of wisdom and Zeus' daughter. Loyal to her father, she escorts him in the dimensional world while they are searching for a traitor of their kind. Athena wields a mechanical shield as her weapon.
- Perseus: A legendary Greek hero and Zeus' son. He is the traitor whom Athena is searching for. Perseus wields a tree spear as his weapon.
- Ares: The Greek god of war and Zeus' son. Prideful and arrogant, he loathes humans and detests his father's tendency to live among them. He wields Typhon spears as his weapon.
- Odin: The Norse god of wisdom and magic. Following his survival at Ragnarok, Odin is eager to search for and accumulate power. He wields Gungnir as his weapon.

I've always thought they could do all sorts of Warriors games. Like, the formula would fit the Trojan War perfectly.
I personally thought they handled Wei almost-perfectly in DW7(they screwed up by putting Xiahou Dun in everything. Past Guan Du, he was basically a civil official who oversaw the governance of part of Cao-Wei's most important territories. And they've never made a big enough deal of Cao Ren holding off Guan Yu even after his castle was flooded out).

Wei has Cao Cao, Xiahou Dun (All time favorite), and Xiahou Mao (Can't believe this dude isn't playable yet) So these dudes win by default.

However Shu has most of my favorites, game play wise: Ma Chao, Guan Yu, Zhang Fei, Wei Yan, Pang Tong. So these dudes take the silver

Wu only has Gan Ning (Before they botched his godly musou) and Zhou Tai who are the only ones worth their shit.
