The problem is that Magikarp is not common in my area, so getting 400 candy was almost impossible.

The gen 1 spawns lately probably helped right? They had something like that when the mew thing was new and that's how I got it done. Don't see many karps here either. There was a raid task that held me up the most. I don't get much chance to do those. I can only really do them on the way home from work. I don't care to be out and about during the day on days off.

Yep, that's why I was able to finally get past it.


I'm not sure if they have another 400 candy evolution task for celebi. I'm only halfway through it. I saved wailmer candy and swablus are fairly common here.
