Literally getting beat by a game noone really played back then except a hardcore minority(Eternal Darkness)

Having said that, Eternal Darkness was the vastly superior game so Nothing wrong there. Just sad to see a mainline Mario game do so poorly on a Poll.

I thought Sunshine was ok, but it definitely didn't have the amount of platforming we're used to in the other games. It was only in those special world levels.

Sunshine wasn't good. They make an interesting gimmick with the water hose, but then decide to make half the levels involving the water hose being taken away from you...and the mechanics are awful when that happenes

The levels with the water hose weren't much fun either. Too much "chase down and spray this fake Mario" and "spray down this goop". Then the structure of unlocking levels was dumb, they should've just copied Mario 64.

Worst mainline Mario except Lost Levels and the NSMB series

I loved sunshine. More than 64 for sure. Probably on the same level as galaxy.

I voted for Sunshine. FLUUD mechanics are great and I will never be convinced otherwise.

If Pikmin 2 was on there, it would have received my vote over Sunshine.

"Poor Mario"? What about Pikmin? the first and second one were fantastic games and is far better than Sunshine.
