Just finished episode 2. This show has no right to be as good as it is. The satire is still spot on and as sharp as ever, but the "guilty guy" this season isn't remotely as funny as the doofus from last season.

I watched 4 episodes of BoJack, the pilot for The Dragon Prince, and then decided to check out the first episode of Vandal S2. It's just as addicting as the first and I'd watch the whole thing right now if I didn't have a tee time at 4pm.

Anyone watching yet? We eatin with the new Netflix releases today

The animation is pretty ugly, but I can get used to it. It seems like it'll be good, but I'll be watching after Vandal and BoJack

Finished it last night. I feel like it's a minor step down from last year, probably because it wasn't as subtle or charming. It's still a really smart, funny, and engaging show. I'll talk about my main gripe about the end when someone else finishes season 2

S1 was lightning in a bottle so I'm not surprised. I'm sure I'll enjoy S2 anyway

Yeah this is pretty much my thoughts on it as well. I'll be sure to watch it some time this week then.

Started last night, finished tonight. Pretty good. Obviously season one was better, but that doesn't mean season 2 isn't great.

DeMarcus was a great character/acting.

The text message "re-enactment" style reading had me dying.

I thought it was a nice little twist, personally. Reminded me of that movie Searching that just came out a few weeks ago which had something of a similar twist.

Just started it tonight, had a few good laughs from it. Not liking it near as much as the first season so far, but it's definitely still great.

I'd say the story is better but nothing will top the character of Dylan

i enjoyed s2 but it's not nearly as good as the first. i think there just wasnt as much nuance as the first season (lol). like i miss how the hosts of the documentary were also somehow involved in the story, for example, but here they are just straight up making a movie. i also felt like the s2 final ep was a little too preachy... if you're making a show for older people then you dont need to shove obvious moral messages in their face, leave a little bit for people to figure out.

but thats just my rant, it's still a good season and there were some fun moments

S2 definitely lacked the intimacy of the documentary makers being students at their own school, it was funny how they were making a documentary on their fellow students. S2 played it straight by having them know nobody.

I think S2 did a better job of developing the characters in its story though.

i think my biggest issue was how straightforward s2 was. like for example in S1 there is that whole episode about trying to figure out if that kid got a handjob at summer camp, to determine the credibility of a witness, and there unfortunately wasn't anything like that in s2

I watched episode 1 last night, I'm definitely into this season so far, but I can't see any characters here being as great as Dylan. Hopefully I'm proved wrong, but he was fantastic.

Demarcus Tillman comes close but Dylan will always be the GOAT

It was only ambiguous to the characters but it was pretty obvious for the viewers
