i actually regret buying the game, the developers did such a good job of making of making isaac isolated and it made the player feel it. just walking alone in the game is so scary =/

Never played Isolation, what was that like?

That depends on whether or not you are an Alien fanboy.

If you are an Alien Fanboy it's a 9 or 10/10 due to it's incredible fanservice and loyalty to the visual/sound design of the original movies. It has long game segments solely designed to recreate classic scenes/feelings from the movie.

There are 2 whole segments in the game where all you do is slowly walk in a straight line while you admire the scenery. Things like the Motion Tracker make an apperance and they brought back original cast members to do voicework.

If you're not an Alien Fanboy a lot of those will drag and so it brings it down to a 6 or a 7/10.

It's entirely stealth focused. The game is similar to like Outlast or where you have (close) to no defense against the Alien who is ruthless and instant kills you. The idea of the game is to slowly sneak through the ship, avoiding Androids/Human Survivors desperately trying not to make noise and to stay out of sight.

And it does that fantastically. It's not "scary" but the tension is rock solid and the AI for the Alien is fantastic. It Roams around, changes directions, tries to trick you. Unless you look it up before hand you won't find ways to just exploit the AI until near the end of the game, unlike all other stealth games where by mission 3 you know exactly what you can do.

It's overly long, drags towards the end and there is one part of the game where nothing much happens at all and it feels like a waste of time.

But it's an exellcent Horror Game and well worth a go. You should check it out.

It's like 6 times as good as Dead Space 2 was

Dead Space game was probably the first game that I played where I got anxiety when I would think about loading it up each time to play through the first time through.
