I think the ones that hit r/all were banned. I think the moderators have been deleting all popular posts criticizing Serena Williams to any extent

This sounds like a reddit version of tails82 list of censored users

Its interesting to see people getting upset about alt-right flavored subs getting banned given how long reddit waits to ban them usually. Normally they drag their feet to take action unless theyre mass doxxing people or the subreddit ends up generating bad press for reddit. Even then subs like the_donald have done both numerous times and theyre still standing.

This is the first Im hearing of a ban list. Is this real or something people pulled out of their asses? Its not like reddit to warn subreddits theyre going to be banned because that just lets the members regroup which defeats the purpose.

Eventually they are gonna piss off people with bans to the point where someone takes action IRL against them. This whole thing wont end well for anyone and eventually the admins are gonna have to step in and comment.

Reddit isnt accountable for shit. I dont know if youve noticed but despite being one of the biggest websites and specifically social media sites in the world, they still havent been called in front of Congress for some reason unlike the big 3 (Facebook, Google, Twitter).

Reddit admins sit on their asses, until theyre forced to do something about it. They care too much about their advertising money.

Yes these subs need to be banned because of the hate speech they spread. But if anyones being explicitly banned for making fun of Serena Williams (and yes this includes the extremely racist and sexist stuff that warrants a ban or quarantine) then its just another shitty moment of hypocrisy for Alexis and the Reddit team.
