If x=0, then y=4.

You don't need calculus to graph a basic algebraic equation.

You also need to find the x such that y = 0, as well. I know this is a joke topic, but you then need to connect the point quoted above, and the point I'm describing now.

Or just start from x=0 and y=4 and connect it to x=1 and y=7 and every +3 y for every +1 x, no need to figure out that y=0 at x= -4/3

I did find it fascinating how the slope formula pretty much derived from calculus, though.

Hell, derivatives themselves are pretty much finding the slope at some point. The basic slope formula just finds the slope at all the points XD

That is indeed easier to graph for such a simple function. Broadly, it's good to determine intercepts, but in practice you can use any arbitrary value instead of just 0, and getting two integer points is useful.

The line goes up 3 blocks at a time

It starts off 4 blocks high

Easy.

I'm terrible at math and I know slope y.

Put the dot initially 4 over the middle point, then go up 3 over 1 for each subsequent dot. There's your slope.

It's from a copypasta that the TC has posted here repeatedly for some reason. I assume this is also either a copypasta or he's just trolling because I think somebody would be able to identify that they're in an algebra class instead of calculus

You also need to find the x such that y = 0

Not sure why that's required but X=-1.333
