You know, companies like Draft Kings where you can slap together one team for a week and win a million bucks. That was the peak in ratings for the NFL.... until people realized it was basically impossible to win. Another factor some have touched on is cord cutting. Ratings are down for literally everything. Despite the fact most games are on network tv a viewer wont be counted in the ratings unless they have a neilson box. And the game as a whole was terrible. Over 100 yards worth of penalties. Sunday is for football, Thursday not so much. Once the MLB playoffs start and basketball and hockey come back, people are going to care about this less. Really makes no sense.
