Or are you more of a "sway back" (posterior pelvic tilt)?

I had it pretty bad after surgery, but I've been working on it for years and I'm more flexible now than I can remember. Yoga does wonders for any postural defect and I implore anyone and everyone to incorporate it into their workout regiment (especially people who lift weights a lot) Doesn't have to be much, just a couple of 20 minute sessions a week along with consistent core work will help. Most people don't even realize their lower back is so tight until they feel the relief

i second this, although i don't practice it. i've been wanting to get into some form of yoga, my flexibility isn't great. i lift too and i sort of teeter on bad form because of my tightnesses.

kyphosis is also a significant problem I see a lot, and is often coupled with anterior tilt. (Upper Crossed syndrome / Lower Crossed Syndrome can be related, as your entire body compensates for muscular weakness)

TC, i would suggest getting an exercise ball and sitting on it whenever you have a chance (while watching tv, playing video games, etc) It forces your spine to be in proper alignment, and helps reinforce proper posture. It helped me "get used" to standing and sitting the correct way

yeah that's another symptom of APT too.

i always just think "pull the string, tighten glutes and abs", and boom you have good posture

just gotta work on getting that a muscle memory resting position

yeah i've been wanting to do something like that. i'm actually kneeling doing lunge stretches right now lol. the ball would help, but i really need to just sit less. maybe a standing desk also.

Not bad actually. My shoulders leaning forward due to bad posture and tight chest muscles are my main concern right now.
