I know the restaurant gets a lot of flack, but for what it is...

What do you usually get? Or do you switch it up? I usually switch it up.

Lately, it's been:
Subway Club
Italian Bread
Provolone
Toasted Extra
Lettuce
Tomato
Extra Pickles
Extra Onion
Oil, Vinegar, Mustard, Light Mayo, Salt and Pepper

Another decent one is:
Seafood Sensation
Wheat Bread
Provolone
Toasted (just the bread and cheese)
Spinach
Jalapenos
Banana Peppers
Sweet Onion, Honey Mustard, Salt and Pepper

Foot-long meatball marinara on italian herb & cheese (used to be parmesan oregano, but they got rid of that, the fuckers), toasted, with parmesan and mozzarella.

So beefy. So cheesy.

Subway is one of the very few places you can get food quickly and cheaply that allows you to eat a variety of fresh vegetables. Spinach, onions, tomatoes, green peppers, and cucumber....that's more veggies than you get in a salad almost anywhere else, and for cheaper. That's why I eat there.

Name a place you can eat that's similar. Pita pit is the only place I can think of. Look, some people just like to m ake sure they're eating enough vegetables, and the reality is that most places, especially places that server meals quickly, just don't have that selection. If they do, tell me because I'd love to add a place to my repertoiere.

I mean just around my work I have

Mad Greens
Literally any sandwich place (Firehouse, Snarf's, Cheba Hut, Jimmy John's, the market below me, etc.)
Garbanzo's
Shondiz
Tokyo Joe's
Protein Bar

And those are just the chains within walking distance.

All of that. Also it allows great customization. Offers breakfast as well. Then depending upon hunger level, you could get a 6inch or a footlong, chips, drink, cookies, etc.

Salt and Pepper with Buffalo Sauce

The Subway near me took away the Buffalo sauce. Sad. We still have the Sriracha, Southwest, and Horseradish.

Sriracha + Horseradish is actually a good combo.

Never heard of any of these but JImmy JOhns...and have you seen Jimmy Johns vegy selection? They don't have spinach or green peppers. And they are really skimpy with the veggies. Subway lets you put extrea on for free too. Get a 12 inch sub LOADED with fresh veggies, and it's 2 meals worth...making it like 3.75 for a nutritious meal. Hard to beat.

Where do you live that none of those places register to you lmao
