lilORANG 08/26/18 11:12:32 AM #1:	I've been seeing a lot lately that if you "gift" money instead of tip it, the server doesn't have to report it as income. I know gifts don't have to be reported, but it seems the gift only occurred in response to a service being performed, so it is compensation regardless of what you call it.
