The British born inventor build his reputation on cyber security with his first anti-virus software launched in the 1980's and resigned from his position in 1994 and sold the company in 1996. Intel bought McAfee in 2010 and removed McAfee name from the products.

He's an international fugitive in 2012 after fleeding Belize police over the murder of his neighbor as he apparently murdered an american, Gregory Faull because they had butted heads over guard dogs.

When police tried to question him, he fled to Guatemala by BOAT where he was arrested and deported to the United States.

He was never indicted on charges and has been avoiding Belize since and got married got a PROSTITUTE

4 years later he tried to run as a Libertarian after failing to run as a REPUBLICAN. He achieved the party's best result ever as he operates MGT Capital that assess the value of cryptocurrencies.

Eccentric security software guru John McAfee, 71, and his 34-year-old wife have opened up about their first meeting, when he hired her as a prostitute.

Paying with a brick of $5 bills loaned to him by a friend, McAfee hired Janice Dyson for a night and a day after picking her up in a Miami Beach cafe, one day after he was deported from Guatemala to the US, ABC 20/20 reported.

'It was, I dont know how to say it, magical - cause he saw the hurt that was there,' Janice who took McAfee's surname after their 2013 marriage, told 20/20's Matt Gutman in a clip released ahead of Friday night's episode.

McAfee, the creator of McAfee Antivirus software, rescued Janice from a violent pimp and years of sex trafficking, allowing her to reconnect with her estranged son and rebuild her life, the happy wife revealed.

He saw the human in me, you know what Im saying?' Janice said, adding that her future husband 'thought I was worthy enough of a second chance.'

'I instantly saw in Janice what I had been looking for my entire life,' the tattooed chain-smoker McAfee recalls.

McAfee was seeking his own fresh start when the two lovebirds met at the beach-side News Cafe in Miami Beach.

He was emerging from a month on the run from murder accusations in Belize, where authorities had tried to implicate him in the 2012 murder of his 54-year-old neighbor, Gregory Faull.

McAfee was never charged, and has always steadfastly maintained his innocence, claiming he is the victim of a conspiracy by the Belizean government, which he believes is controlled by the Sinaloa cartel.

McAfee went into hiding in Guatemala, where he lived for a month in a resort before being arrested for entering the country illegally and was deported to the US.
