I was considering getting Dragon Quest XI pre ordered (NZ$104.95) during this time, but it would just get me a theme and some items to make the game easier, so I'm better off grabbing several cheaper games. It was probably going to sit in the backlog with 6 and 7 anyway. -_-

i'm probably going to get MonHunGen on Switch instead of Dragon Warrior
I still have to finish dw7, I actually enjoy the old version on the ps1 but the 3ds one is probably much easier to play

Generally, the local prices are higher than US prices, but it isn't 1:1 conversion either, so I've seen some lower priced games locally beating any US sales on the sale title.

Demon's Souls was one, lowest US price was US$6.80 ($5 Plus), locally was NZ$7.95 / US$5.30 (unsure on Plus). A bunch of older / indie games just seem to randomly get shoved with that price here (you will notice a few prices that repeat on multiple titles, those same prices occur often even when the base costs are different), while the US prices on the same games often stick higher.

Only one i've played is mvc infinite and while i love fighting games this one was kind of a tragic miss for me and many others in the fighting game community

it's not a bad game by any means but it could have been so much better especially in a time when we have games like blazblue cross tag battle and dragon ball fighterz out now

like i said it's not a bad game but there are better ones out there especially in the fighting game genre
