I thought before that some morbidly obese people would throw off the average, but given that 70% of adults in the US are overweight the average probably isn't that far off of the median.

Ah. I am the same way, but if a person already has a public social media profile, they don't mind others looking at or sharing their images.

Thing is, I could have had the easy lifestyle had I stayed with her. She was 1/4 native, and a single mother. Meaning she was making more money than I was(while I was working 35h @13/h), while sitting at home mothering a child. She was also in the process of getting free housing because she was part native.

So imagine if you will:

Child Support
Native Exemptions(Taxes, Free Housing, Paid for being Native)
A bunch of other stuff I won't get into.

I was struggling to make 2000 a month and she was at home making 3k+. Now, not saying mothering isn't a hard job, it most certainly is, but it really puts things in perspective.

This rate of obesity in the community coupled with the devastating effect on the environment that food production has makes this epidemic, in my opinion, a leading issue that needs to be addressed.
