cut a chunk of my finger off right at the base of the nail at work. had to go to an urgent care place because it wouldn't stop bleeding, but there was just a chunk of finger missing, not a cut, so they couldn't do stitches. they put a pressure bandage on that I had to wear for 72 hours.

I woke up and couldn't breathe without a sharp pain in my lungs. I could only manage very shallow breaths. I was laying in bed awake for maybe like 20 minutes and was desperately trying to take deeper and deeper breaths. I was eventually able to breathe deeper and deeper, but something didn't feel right.
I drove myself to the ER. I was walking to the hospital from the parking lot and was running out of breath. They rushed me to a room after taking my pulse. I went for a totally unrelated issue but the doctor started asking questions about my weight as if she thought I was anorexic or something. Made me feel bad since I was already very self-conscious about it.

Last week. Woke up screaming with unbearable back pain. They thought it was a damaged muscle, but the pain wouldn't stop even after medication. Went to my doctor. Turns out I have a spinal injury and need physical therapy and possibly surgery.
