It drives them crazy. They act like it goes against all their principles. Sports Media has fully accepted Esports. Athletes have fully accepted Esports. So have advertisers and major entertainment business.

Sports fans can't get their head out their asses. You don't have to like it but my Lord. Just accept it. No need to feel the need to boycott over this.

I'm a sports fan as well BTW. It just bugs me watching other fans be so vocal about something they could just ignore.

What i don't like is when the spelling bee is on espn. At least with esports you have to use your thumbs.

Granted I don't talk Esports much at all when I'm not on the internet. Sports respond very harshly on the internet. I've seen it over and over again. Actually, let me post a tweet that compelled me to make this topic:

They're just jealous they don't have the ability to compete on a global stage. I bet they are secretly practicing every day hoping to get better so they could win the prize money. I was pretty good at Halo 2 back in the day and competed with the best players in my state. But by no means was I MLG material. Is MLG still a thing now? I always wonder if I didn't go to school and have to work full time if I could have been more of a national player.

Old generation just can't tolerate change. To me, a sport is any kind of organized competitive activity, so games are...fair game.
