I remember hating the third movie the most when I was younger. I just never paid attention to it and felt bored.

Goblet of Fire wasn't bad...I liked it. I felt Order of the Phoenix was the least interesting one.

A lot of things. Partly strange changes from the book. Like dobby and winky being cut. One can argue a lot on how they handled various aspects of this.

And of course dumbeldores infamous scene. It just...doesnt feel like dumbeldore. Its extreemly out of character for dumbeldore to get angry and manhandle a student like that. Its become a bit of meme but its hard to argue that scene was handled or acted properly. It really really doesnt fit.

And many arguments can be made about the tone or pacing of the movie.

Its been quite some time since I have done a full viewing of the movie though.

It's my favorite. The direction and soundtrack are better than the dull shit that came after and the story bridges the first half of the saga to the second. It's like Empire Strikes Back in a few ways.

Goblet of Fire left a particularly bad taste in my mouth because it came off the heels of Prisoner of Azkaban, which I remember being surprisingly good and actually improved upon the books in some ways.

Also Barty Crouch Jr. didn't get his soul sucked out like in the book so one wonder why they can't just have Fudge interrogate him or use vigilimens or truth serums or whatever to show that he was telling the truth.

You could argue that since the movie takes place mostly from Harry's perspective, this is how Harry saw it playing out. Since he's getting all emotional and ansy, he thought he was being accused of something when Dumbledore was actually just calm.

... I'm not saying I agree with it, I'm just stretching.

There doesn't need to be some cryptic explanation for it. Film and text are different things - the former has to cram hundreds of pages worth of plot and emotion into a 2.5-hour chunk, and doesn't have the luxury of spending a ton of time building up the tension. Having Dumby get pissed the hell off ensures that, no matter what needs to get cut later, we know Harry done fucked up. It's a cheaper way to do it, sure, but anyone who claims it "ruins" the story is just looking for reasons to hate the film.
