There are potential upsides to being invisible depending on your personality and on how invisible is being defined. I'd consider how poorly defined the scenarios have been to be a bigger problem. Plus I could still wear visible clothes, or wear a mask hollow man style with a wig, if I was desperate to be seen. I see a lot of upsides to being invisible. Being a meme, not so much.
