It basically goes harder into myth and cosmic stuff.

There's a huge space adventure arc that's great.

Definitely goes into goofy elements, but its good.

Yeah Walt really knew what to do with the characters and use Thor in more than just the mythical part. As the above poster said, in the cosmic element too. Which became a setting that he would be used in more and more with other writers after.

I also really like his art. His battles looks epic. And it fits very well with the stories and settings he uses. Mileage may vary on the art for people that have read it, but most agree the stories are solid.

Is there a smaller trade of Simonson Thor then? 1,000 pages seem like it would be too heavy to carry around or place on your lap, and it is $150.

Theres some collections that are multiple volumes that if dont care about condition can probably get cheaper.
