I stopped smoking cigarettes, weed, stopped drinking, and stopped drinking sodas. The hardest part has been the weed.

Thanks man. It's funny, I quit because the cigarettes I bought were disgusting. I'd usually smoked some camels, but I had a coupon for $2 pack of American Spirits. Smoked a couple, felt disgusted, decided to never smoke cigarettes again

One day when I finished a pack of cigarettes I just decided I didn't want to smoke anymore. That was 7 years ago and I have zero desire to ever light up anything again.
I dropped booze just over a month ago. That one's a bit tougher for me to say "I'm never going to do this again" but the plan is to stay away from it for quite a while. ... Copied to Clipboard!

Congrats. Just remember that it's just as important to not put yourself in situations where those things might be a temptation. Social settings, etc.

We went to a bar and of course I went outside with my friends when they wanted to take a smoke break. I don't know how many times my brain told me just smoke one cigarette, you're not even buying a pack. But I ultimately decided against it --- ... Copied to Clipboard!

I'm basically straight edge now but not by choice. I hate cigarettes, I rarely ever drink but I was a massive pothead (daily smoker for 8 years). Moving to China made me give up the weed. If I can find a legit hook up I would still smoke but I'm not really going to risk looking for one. Probably won't be able to smoke again until June when I visit Canada for a couple weeks.
